In a comment below, a colleague was wondering why the so called horizontal “force breaking” suture has recently disappeared. This kind of suture used to be performed at the end of mucogingival surgeries in the apical zone of the flap. I replied: “I’m gonna answer you with a video”, as the answer was pretty complex and, finally, after stealing my children’s pencil case, I managed to record it!
