Professonal activity
Although I had the opportunity to work in all branches of dentistry, I mostly deal with complex endodontic and dental restoration cases, with particular focus on cosmetic dental restoration.
As for the endodontics, I shape, cleanse and fill approximately 1000 root canals a year, by using a dental microscope.
I am a regular member of the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry and of the Italian Society of Endodontics.
Milestones in Professional Development
2015
- I won the Giorgio Lavagnoli award at the SIE national congress in Bologna for my report: “Minimally invasive non surgical treatment of class IV invasive cervical resorption: a case series”
- I was co-author of the report on “Combined endodontic-surgical treatment of previously undergone apicectomy lower incisors di affected by severe second degree periodontic lesion: case report with 18 months follow-up”, presented by Doctor Federico Tirone at Giorgio Lavagnoli award last session.
- I attended the advanced course in gums prosthesis and surgery taught by Prof. Zucchelli and Doctor Monaco in Bologna
- I attended theClinical Periodontology course taught by Doctor Francesco Ferrarotti in Cuneo
- I took part in the17th International Congress of Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry, in Riva del Garda
2014
- I took part in the International SIE Congress in Parma as a speaker, ranking among the finalists for the Lavagnoli Award, with my report on: “Non surgical Treatment of a premolar with class IV external resorption using MTA”

- I was a regular attendant at the University of Turin Oral Medicine and Patology ward, directed by Prof. Sergio Gandolfo and the University of Turn Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics ward, directed by Professors Stefano Carossa and Elio Berutti, taking part in all the research activity.

Dott. Tirone Federico
Professonal activity
For six years now, I have dedicated my professional expertise to complex cases management in the oral surgery field, from periodontology to cosmetic prosthetic rehabilitation.
Although I do not limit my professional activity to implantology only, I insert approximately 1500 implants a year, most of which together with regenerative and reconstructive surgical procedures.
I am an active member of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology and regular member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Italian Society of Osteointegration.
